Atmosphere

What to expect

We organised a similar event with Ian in London earlier. This video gives you an impression of the atmosphere, the sets and how Ian works.

01 / The masterclass

Follow Ian's workflow

Ian takes you through his entire way of working, from the first idea to the final image. Then he shoots live in his own style and explains why he makes certain choices. Besides Ian, two more masterclasses are on the programme, with makers we will announce soon. Ian's masterclass is in English.

B

C

Building the set

D

Live shoot

The maker

Ian Hippolyte

Fashion, portrait and beauty photographer from London

Ian has shot for GQ, the Royal Opera House and record labels such as Atlantic Records and Sony Music. His work is bold, refined and dark in tone, built on precise control of colour and light. He started in film, and you still see that in how he uses light and movement.
